“Duh-uh, Plato? William Shakespeare? Never heard of them.” The university “students” (they’re not really students because they don’t study anything) want the telephones, the airplanes, the automobiles, the cameras, the phonographs, the computers, democracy (i.e., all the Western things that White men invented), but they have no interest in learning about White male history mainly because White males are “evil, racist oppressors.” Actually, White males have given the world far more than they have taken away. (I’d like to see how the “students” would react if democracy or computers vanished tomorrow).
